Hello Everyone:

Today, I will explain my food and cooking activities on 20-04-2022 in detail with The Food Diary Game submission.

Today we are on the nineteenth day of Ramadan and there are 11 days left until the end of Ramadan. After 11 days, Ramadan Feast will begin. 🙂 Now, I will share with you the dishes I prepared for today below.

1️⃣First Meal of the Day: Salad + Boiled Egg + A Slice of Watermelon

I started preparing my first meal of the day at 03:50. I spend a total of two meals during the month of Ramadan. After this meal I prepared, I will have dinner near 20:00 in the evening. I shared with you in my previous The Food Diary Game post that I usually prepare soup for the first meal of the day. Today, I decided to prepare the soup for iftar. I boiled myself an egg, added a slice of watermelon + a slice of feta cheese. Finally, I prepared a salad using tomatoes and green lettuce. I finished my meal with sesame pita beside the trio I prepared. I prefer to prepare meals that are both nutritious and not tiring on the stomach.

2️⃣Second Meal of the Day: Turkish Name "Chicken Doner"

One of the first dishes I prepared for iftar is "Chicken Doner" with its Turkish name. You may be hearing the word doner for the first time. Doner chicken leg is one of the favorite street food delicacies of many people in Turkey, which is prepared by blending onions, garlic, yogurt, olive oil, red pepper flakes and spices. Instead of combining and preparing the ingredients I listed above, I bought the frozen version from the supermarket. I prepared this dish easily by heating it in a pan with a little oil for about 5 to 7 minutes.

3️⃣Third Meal of the Day: Chicken Cream Soup

As the third meal of the day, I prepared cream of chicken soup. I usually prefer to prepare chicken soup completely naturally at home, but since I do not boil any chicken type in water, I bought Knorr brand instant soups sold in powder form. On days when I boil chicken in water, I usually use the water in chicken soup and it tastes great. Today, I can say that I prefer to prepare practical meals. I thought a few slices of pita with hot sesame seeds would be great for iftar, along with chicken soup.

4️⃣ Fourth Meal of the Day: Fresh Green Bean Meal

I haven't been preparing a fresh green bean meal at home for a long time, and green beans are a source of fiber + a very important vegetable for health. I can say that I used about 400 grams of green beans, 2 potatoes, onions, tomatoes, olive oil, tomato paste, spices and 600 mL of hot water to prepare this dish. To prepare this dish, we first add olive oil to our pot, then add the onions that we cut for cooking and fry for a minute or two. Then add tomatoes, tomato paste and spices. Then we add the green beans that we cut as food to our pot and wait until the beans are soft. Finally, let's add 600 mL of hot water to our pot and mix. After about 30 minutes on medium heat, your meal will be ready. 🙂

@alikoc07 me gusta mucho lo sano que comes esa primera comida con Ensalada, Huevo y Sandía ademas de sana, nutritiva y sabrosa debe ser muy saciante, en cuanto a tu segunda comida con Pollo Doner tienes toda la razón nunca lo había oído antes y por supuesto tampoco lo he probado la comida turca es muy interesante y creativa así que basado en tu receta lo preparare, luego te cuento que tal me quedo. en fin todos tus alimentos de hoy se ven deliciosos la Crema de Pollo y ni hablar de las Judías Verdes, Felicidades por todos tus alimentos de hoy, saludos.

Doner is prepared by blending chicken legs and the ingredients I mentioned above. One of the best selling street food here...

I'm dreaming of the taste of feta cheese; I haven't eaten it for years. I used to have it with mashed ripe tomato on a toast for breakfast.
You're lucky to have options to get good quality foods and also meals ready to eat; I can also see it was a good amount of chicken doner there on your plate; it'll help you to endure the fast.

Why don't you eat feta cheese for a long time, I think it is one of the great products for breakfast. 🙂

At home, if I spend a lot of time cooking, it is very difficult for me to do my work on the computer. That's why preparing practical products is very valuable to me... 🙂

Well, there was a time whne many products became scarce, too expensive, or both, and I had to adjust my family's budget to meet priorities. For us, feta cheese is an imported product, so fresh cheese of national production is a more reasonable option in difficult times (it is also very tasty, so there is no problem). But since everything is now very, very expensive in Venezuela, even national products, don't be surprised if you see feta cheese in my Food Diary entry one of these days.

Thank you very much Kyrie for your valuable comment, I am not on a diet. But I don't eat much during the day because I'm fasting due to Ramadan. That's why I prefer to serve and eat less of the food I prepare. 🙂

I can feel the taste and aroma of your meals through this post, you have made some delicious menus on the day especially the chicken cream soup, i think potatoes and chicken are great combination to deliver great taste after sauteed them with olive oil. Thanks for sharing with us
