Hello everyone am back again with another recipes .
It's called sandwich on a budget.
It's very easy, super delicious and requires no expensive spending it's basically things you have in your fridge.
INGREDIENTS:
1.BREAD.
2.TOMATO AND PEPPER.
3.ONION
4.CHILI PEPPER(CRUSHED)
5.BUTTER
6.CABBAGE AND CARROT
7.MAYONNAISE
8.CHICKEN
Any meat of your choice is fine I used chicken because that is what I have .
9.SEASONING CUBE
10.SALT
11.CURRY
12.THYME
13.VEGETABLE OIL
All the ingredients listed were found in my fridge
DIRECTION:
1.Clean the chicken,chop into bite size and place in a bowl.
2.add one seasoning cube.
3.a pinch of salt
4.add a little curry (I have come again with a little oo).
5.add a ...little..thyme too
6.add your crushed chili pepper.
7.add a drop of oil Enough to mix the ingredients into the chicken.
8.mix the ingredients all together and your chicken should be looking like this
I came outside to show you a clear view actually.
9.cover it up and keep in the fridge well you can actually just pan fry it right away but I had other things to do before that so I kept mine in the fridge for 10mins.
10.wash your cabbage and carrots.
11.pls try to clean your carrot like this it's very healthy I know some people don't like this like when my mum see me doing this she will get so angry and will complain of me wasting carrot ..my dear you are not wasting carrot just trying to eat healthy okay .
Then try to clean your cabbage too I remove a good amount of cabbage to get that clean spot pls don't remove Everything then you will say it's me oo the 1st and 2nd layers going out is enough.
So after all the oversabi I got this
12.cut your cabbage and carrot into thin stripes.
13.chop your tomatoes and peppers like this.
14.cut your onions into ring size .
15.get your mayonnaise into a bowl
Add a little milk to it yes I said milk.
Then a little sugar yes dear sugar too
Mix together to get a thick but running consistency and set aside.
16.heat up your pan then add a litte butter let the butter melt for 20sec
Transfer the oil to a bowl and add a little chili pepper to it and set aside for later use
17.cut your bread into half but not to the end and toast it on the pan for 1min or untill it turns golden brown inside
18.transfer the chicken inside the pan and stir fry till it's no longer pink this will take 3mins max .
19.add the onions and stir for 1min
After that you will get this.
20.add your cabbage,carrot and chop pepper to a bowl with the Mayo mix we made.
21.add the remaining mayo mix to the bread and spread generously don't be stingy with it.
Add the coleslaw mix
Add the chicken
Add the tomatoes
Add the onions
Cover the bread and transfer back to the pan
Add the butter chili mix on top of the bread,get a pot cover that is smaller than the pan and press the bread for 1min let the heat pan fry the bread and toast it.
Take it out and lay on a plate.
Add more mayo mix if you want like I did and that is it. Your sandwich on a budget is ready
