Hello my fellow steemians in steem food channel . Greetings to all my fellow contest writers local dish .I will like to cook my local dish to you Im going to show you how to prepare it and the ingredients we use to cook it and the nutritional value of the food .
There are many local dish in Ghana each food has it region mostly cook example fufu mostly for Akans . But as for me I will like to talk about the local dish that is Cook by all the region in Ghana .It is the most affordable and fastest in preparing too and very tasty and nutritious.i know you are imagining what food it will be.
The name of the food is Gari Tou, it is the only local dish that is prepare by all the region in Ghana. Gari Tou is very affordable and it saves money.
The following are the ingredients for preparing gari Tou Gari , pepper , onion , tomato, palm oil ,these are the major ingredients but to make the food more delicious appetizing and nutritious,you can add carrot,eggs ,fish etc.
Equipment you may need blender , knife , bowl and plates. The blender it can be local or foreign but as we are discussing about local dish let use local one . now ground the pepper onion and tomato add salt to taste. Then add small water to the gari mixed it to make it soft.
Add the grounded pepper and the gari and palm oil.
Let go back to the accompaniment part of the food that is the egg , carrot fish etc. Wash the carrot and peal it and the egg you can cook or choose to fried it.Dish out the food in plate and add the slice onion ,carrot egg.
Now the food is is ready for consumption,now u know the reason why i said it is the most fastest local food you can ever prepare.
