My favourite Cake Shop - presenting the "PANADERIAS GALINDO" in Orgiva (Granada) Costa Tropical Spain

Hello i @berlin61 like to share now with you my favourite Cake Shop and i am happy to write this articel because the preparation and the visit at the PANDERIA GALINDO was already fun and i feel so good because the Team of this cake shop recieved me very heartful and familiar and they liked the idea of my article from the first moment.

In Orgiva, a romantic mountain town located in the Sierra Nevada in a region which is also called Costa Tropical closed to the mediteranian sea you will find in the mainroad a very special and old fashioned typical spanish Cake Shop
The PANDERIA GALINDO is a Cake Shop and Bakery which is operated by the Familly Galindo since the Year 1893.
This long years of existence is only guranteed because they never changed their way of producing handmade sweets, bread, cakes and in their Coffee they offer also Pizza, Snacks and different kinds of smoothies, ice cream and just all what you need to be happy.
Sadly the lockdown is affecting also every normal life here, thats why the normally overcrouded terassa is now empty, but the shop is open and you can enter and buy your Cake and Bread to go. Also Coffee to go is available.

When you come in front of the shop you can already smell the amzing scent of sweet cake, bread and coffee.
Still the spanish people like to come out and take a fast coffee and eat a piece of cake or what they love most in the morning a roasted bread with fresh tomatos, cheese and on top olive oil.
The window offers a nice view on the rich varieties of cakes and sweets and you can hardly pass the shop without at least take something small in your hand and eat it direct, everything is handmade and it looks so fantastic.

When you enter the shop you will be welcomed by the beautiful and friendly way of the owner and the workers, the spanish people are very very friendly and they like the life and they love children.
The smell in this coffee is a mix of roasted coffee, fresh bread, spices and sweets and it reminds me always of the time when i am a child and it gives me just good feelings, the shop is old fashioned but very clean, but this is a typical thing in Spain, everywhere you come you will find everything need, clean and the people is always busy and that is a nice feeling.
The guestroom is quit big and have two floors but because of the lockdown nobody is inside, normaly the place is full and the life is pumping, people is discussing and laughing and enjoying the beautiful food of this palce.
The owner has displayed arts of local artists to sell and this is also a way of community feeling and togetherness.

Beside this you find the Cake vitrina and the Sweet displays where you can choose your favourite bread, empanadas, sweets and cakes.
It is so overwhelming and beautiful and you feel just tempted by everything.

Happily i was invited to choose something to try it and the saleswomen packed everything nicely in paper and i took the things to the house for a try, normaly the things i choose would have been around 8 € but the owner was impressed by the idea of my articel and offered me this present.

Prices are quite affortable here, as everywhere in Spain the prices for food are quite cheap and that makes it also possible to visit a place like this more times in the week, a normal coffee is 1,20 € and snacks also start in this price range, it depends on your taste and appetite.
I give you here a look on the price table to have an imagination of what is possible.

Back home i opened the tasty sweets and cakes and i enjoyed them together with my wife and my son and we where happy, because all what you get at GALINDO is fresh and handmade and they not use any artificial ingridients.
It took just some minutes and everything was gone :)
Rich taste and good feelings was the effect.
