Beans ball popularly known as Akara in Nigeria

Akara is high in protein due to the beans content. It is very good for dessert because it is a hand meal. Dessert is taken after appetizer and mean dish. You don't need to go out from the comfort of your house to get the ingredients, they are can all be gotten within the kitchen.

Ingredients

See our mouth

Akara ball is my desired dessert because it is so easy to be prepared, anyone can prepare it as long as you wish to. It is more hygienic when you prepare it at home as we need to be watchful over what we consume. I used palm oil to fry, this made it taste more local than the conventional one that is fried with groundnut oil. My ever loving mother in law prepared the palm oil so I am so sure of the purity. You can also use Shea butter to fry depending on the taste you want to get.
Akara ball is fluffy inside and crispy outside.

You can give it a try especially with palm oil
I so love the taste of the locally fried Akara with palm oil.
