Hello to everyone of us in steemfoods community I greet you all, how are we all doing? It's my pleasure today to post about how I prepared my egusi (melon) and okra with pumpkin leaf soup today . So please follow me as I write about how I did that
These are the ingredients and their names
INGREDIENTS USED AND QUANTITY
The quantity I used depending on the size of my family are as listed below.
**meat 2.5 steem
**Crayfish 1.01 steem
**Pepper 0.5 steem
**Okra 1 steem
**Onion 1 ball
**Maggi 2cubes
**Periwinkle 1 steem
**Fish 1.5 steem
**Melon 1 steem
**Pumpkin leaf 0.5 steem
**A teaspoon of salt
STEPS OF PREPARING THE INGREDIENTS
*wash the pumpkin leaf for at least three times.
**Blend the pepper
**Wash the meat put in the pot add a pinch of salt ,a cube of Maggi and little blended pepper and steam for about 20 minutes.
**Then wash the fish and periwinkle and add together allow to boil for some time.
**Slice your pumpkin leaf.
**Blend the crayfish or pound.
**Blend the melon.
**Slice the onion.
**Slice the okra.

PROCEDURE FOR PREPARING THE SOUP.
**Put the pot on the fire and let hot, then put oil allow to get hot for 3 minutes add onion .
** Add crayfish and stir
**Add the remaining blended pepper
**Let hot for 3 minutes and add the blended melon
**Continue stirring until the melon is dry of the water that was added while blending.
**Put the steemed stalk
**Add the sliced okra
**Add salt.
**Stir to mix well and let boil for 15minutes.
**Then add the sliced pumpkin leaf
**Stir and cover then let boil .
**Put down and "FOOD IS READY".
That was how I prepared my melon,okra with pumpkin leaf soup today. Hope you'll give it a try.its sumptuous.
