Hello steemians trust y'all are faring well. Today I bring to u one of my country's local dish called groundnut soup and rice. I will explain how the cooking was carried out with picture proof.
So this is what the food looks after cooking it.
Well let's move to the cooking process. I started with boiling my rice, so that while the rice was on the fire, I occupied my self with making my ingredients for the soup.
Before cooking the rice I had it well washed as seen above.
Next I fried my groundnut and ground it to become paste.
After that my spices were all in place and ready of frying.
Amongst all were fresh tomatoes, ginger and garlics that have been blended. Also was sliced onions and pepper. Then was smoked fish and cow skin to make the soup great.
Having all of that I then fry everything together and it turns out like this.
From here I now add my groundnut paste after which I add my salt and maggi to make it tasty.
From here I add a big cup of water and let it boil till it getgets ready where i later serve it and it looks like this.
