Today, i am going to share an easy and quick breakfast recipe that gets ready on a go. If you are a working women or a bachelor living away from your family. This recipe will surely help you ease your hunger as well as full of nutrients. So get ready for an easy to go recipe.
Poha also known as beaten rice is a Central-West Indian dish prepared using this flattened rice as the key ingredient.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Things required to prepare Poha:
Poha (beaten or flatten rice)
Onion
Tomato
Chilli
Lemon
Cooking oil
Turmeric
Mustard Seeds
Curry Leaves
Salt
Preparation:
Take poha in a large strainer. Gently wash it 1-2 times in a running water add little salt and keep it aside. Now heat a 2 tablespoon cooking oil in a pan add mustard seed, chillies, chopped onion, curry leaves and stir it for 10 seconds. After that add chopped tomato and little salt saute the whole recipe by adding turmeric. Now add the soaked poha stir it well cook it for 10 min in low flame. Now add lemon juice and decorate it with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
You are ready to serve poha.
