Hello amazing steem foods lovers, its my pleasure to welcome you to my kitchen today. Trust you are all doing great, I'm very good over here.

Today I'm going to show you how I prepared our local food AFANG SOUP it is very easy to prepare and it's always very delicious. It is a local soup that can be seen in every restaurant in my city, I like the soup and my family like it too. To begin the cooking process let me show you ingredients that is required to cook this soup. Come along with me as I take you to my kitchen, enjoy.

INGREDIENTS

  • Afang leaf
  • Water leaf
  • Smoked fish
  • Stockfish
  • Perewinkle
  • Crayfish
  • Goat meat
  • Palm oil
  • Fresh pepper
  • Cow skin
  • Seasoning cubes
  • Salt

Wow This soup it's going to be yummy!!

COOKING PROCESS

STEP ONE

  • Wash the meat

  • Washed stock fish

  • Washed perewinkle

  • Put them together in a pot and place it on your cooking gas, steam the ingredients with seasoning cubes, salts, onion and pepper

STEP TWO

  • Cut the Afang

  • Pound it, using mortar and pestle

STEP THREE

  • washed the waterleaf

  • Cut it to smaller size

STEP FOUR

  • Washed the crayfish, it's optional but me I do wash it to avoid sand

  • Washed Pepper

STEP FIVE

  • Once you are done preparing this ingredients, add your waterleaf to the pot,

  • Add Crayfish

  • Add palm oil, salt and seasoning cubes cover the pot allow it to for 15mins. Note; do not add water unless you want your soup to be watery

STEP SIX

  • Add smooked fish, as you can see the waterleaf already is water on its own, I didn't add water but that's how it's looks

Come and join me, you can eat it with any swallow, garri, fufu, oatmeal, semovita, wheat flour or plantation flour. I ate mine with garri
