¿Did you say Tajadas?

I love tajadas

I love tajadas, it is one of my favorite dishes, and I wanted to introduce myself to the group by showing a quick recipe for making tajadas just like my grandmother's recipe.

Tajadas is a popular food in Venezuela, its uses are varied; and depending on its use can vary the impact it has on the dish you are going to accompany.

Many of the foods we see in traditional Venezuelan food implement this dish in their recipes, and more importantly, it is a fundamental part of the pabellon, a typical dish of this country.

The recipe for the slices is very simple, just choose ripe or sweet plantains, carefully remove the peel and cut small slices of the plantain, then preheat the oil in a frying pan, and carefully place each slice in the pan.

The color tone for the slices that are ready is like a kind of brown tone, but as a family tradition I must share this secret that was inherited to me, in the photo you can see a very vivid yellow tone that is shown in the slices I made, specifically in the ones that are ready, that tone is perfect because it allows you to taste the sweetness of the slices and at the end it has an almost critical tone.

Let me know with your comments if you have tasted the slices before, or if they are eaten in your country. If you like them or not and what you think of the recipe.
