Homemade potato patties

Do you like potatoes in different dishes? Using them to make these sausage & potato patties for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even a snack will bring full bellies and happy smiles to anyone who tries them!
Instead of the usual dough, they contain mashed potatoes. Pies are prepared so simply that everyone can handle them.

Cooking time 30 min.

Ingredients

Potatoes 500 g

Salt taste

Eggs 2 pieces

Flour 3-4 st. spoons + for sprinkling

Sausages 5-6 pieces

Garlic 2 cloves

Vegetable oil 5-6 Art. spoons

Preparation

Peel and boil the potatoes in boiling salted water until soft for 20-30 minutes. Drain and cool.

2 ․ Grate potatoes on a medium grater or mash in mashed potatoes.
3 ․ Combine potatoes with eggs. Add flour and salt and knead into a soft, slightly sticky dough.

Sprinkle flour on the table and place the dough on top of it. Divide it into 5-6 equal parts and form cakes from them.

Place a sausage in the center of each flatbread, cover it with dough and form an even pie.

You can cut the sausages into 2-3 pieces for smaller patties.
6 ․ Peel and cut the garlic in half lengthwise. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Fry the garlic until golden brown and remove from the oil.
Garlic is needed to cook pies in aromatic oil.
7 ․ Fry the pies over low heat for 4-5 minutes on each side. They should be covered with a golden crust.
