PREPARATION METHODS
- Cook yam until is very soft with only clean water.
- Pound the yam with help of the mortar and pistil.
- Cook tomatoes, onions, garden egg and pepper in a saucepan.
- Steam meat and fish in another saucepan.
- Blend cooked tomatoes and other ingredients and sieve it in another the boil it.
- Add steamed meat and fish to the blended ingredients then allow to cook for sometime.
7.After sometime the soup and fufu will be ready for serving
In some parts of Ghana, people add cassava ,plantain to the yam before pounding it in order to give it more starch.
