Its Sunday! I made Calamari stir fried Rice for dinner.
Let me share the recipe.
Ingredients :
1/2 kg Calamari
2 large onions
2 medium sized carrots (cut into strips)
1 zuccini ( cut into strips)
6 cloves of garlic
1 cup par boiled green peas
Salt
1 table spoon sugar
2 tablespoons dark soysource
1 teaspoon chilli
2 cups par boiled Rice
Method
- In a wok, fry the onions and garlic paste till golden brown.
- Put in the carrots and fry for 5 mins until soft
- Add in the zuccini and fry for another 5 mins.
- Add in the calamari and fry until soft.
- Make a paste using dark soy sauce, sugar, salt and chilli and add in.
- Add in the par boiled peas and stir together.
- Mix in the cooked rice and garnish with capsicum and parsley and remove from heat.
Serve while hot and enjoy with your family.
Ps: I just discovered am allergic to the calamari so no more for me sadly but it was delicious!
