First of all, we cook mostly every Saturdays. So we cook what will cover us for the week, few days, a day or two.
Last Saturday, we prepared bitter leaf soup
Here's the procedures:
Get to the market and buy everything you need for your soup, meats, stockfish, periwinkles, water leaf, bitter leaf, crayfish, maggi, pepper, salt, etc.
When you get to the house, wash your meat, crayfish (if fresh), and all raw meats you bought, season them and steam it.
Sit and select your water leaf if it wasn't, wash it and the cut it, move over to your bitter leaf, extract it from the stems and cut it, as the name implies, BITTER LEAF, it is certainly bitter so wash it until you arrive at your own taste.
