Happy Sunday my dear Steemians. I'm Ese from Nigeria. I want to present to you, the procedures of how I prepared my yummy melon chicken Pepper Soup. Very easy to prepare. I will start with listing my ingredients
INGREDIENTS
1 chicken 800g
2 1 cup powdered melon seeds, half cup crayfish, 1 table spoon powdered chilli pepper
3 1 table spoon egwore and evewe( pepper soup spices)
4 3 cubes Maggi star
5 1/2 table spoon of salt
METHOD
Step 1
I washed the chicken and put into a suitable size pot.
I added a cup of water, I added salt and my Maggi Star stock cubes. I stirred up and I put it on medium heat for 5 minutes.
Step 2
I mixed my melon seeds with water and added to the pot of boiling chicken and stirred.
I added my grounded crayfish and my pepper soup spices and stirred and allowed to cook for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes I turned off the heat and it looked like this is in my pot.
I served in my soup bowl and took a picture.
Melon seeds (Egusi) pepper soup can be served with starch or Eba. I hope you enjoyed my recipe. Thanks for your time, have a blessed day.
