Hello everyone on steemfoods. It's another day to share with you my home cooked food. Try this easy recipe at home and share with your families. This pork ribs soup is best serve during rainy weather or if you would like to gain energy from a tired day. I will introduce to you my "HEALTHY PORK RIBS SOUP". Healthy because I included some vegetables.
The ingredients are:
- 1/2 kilo pork ribs
- 1/4 kilo squash
- 1/2 bunch of chinese cabbage or pechay
- ginger
- 2 pcs green chili
- 2 table spoon oil
- salt
- umami seasoning
- 4-5 cups water
Preparation and cooking steps:
- Wash the pork ribs, Chinese Pechay, squash, ginger and chili's.
- Cut or slice them accordingly.
- Heat the pan and add oil
- Sauté the ginger
-When the ginger is a little bit brownish add the pork ribs. Fry the pork ribs at least 2-3 minutes in low fire.
I fried the pork ribs with ginger to give more taste on the pork meat.
- After frying the pork ribs, add in the squash and mix for a minute.
- Then add the water and boil the pork ribs and squash for about 15-20 minutes or until the pork is soft and tender.
- When the pork is already soft add in the green chili, seasoned with salt and umami seasoning.
- Put the Pechay and boil for a minute
