Ghormeh Sabzi
Ghormeh Sabzi is one of the few foods that has been passed down intact from mother to daughter and from generation to generation throughout history.
Ingredients
Meat: 500 grams
Onions: 1 large
Oil: 250 g
Omani lemon: 5 to 6 pieces
Beans: Half a glass
Vegetables: 1 kg
Turmeric: as needed
Salt: As needed
Pepper: As needed
Preparation and recipe
Soak the beans from the night before.
Clean the meat and also chop the onion.
Then, after cleaning the meat and after chopping the onion, fry it together in one place.
In the next step, add turmeric and black pepper to the meat and onion
Then add beans to the meat and onion.
We also add water to these materials and heat it. Continue this heat until the meat is semi-cooked.
Now, clean our vegetables, which include leeks, parsley, coriander, fenugreek and some mint feathers, and after washing, chop them and fry for about 15 minutes.
It's time to add these vegetables to our diet as well.
In the next step, we add our spices to it, pepper and salt are enough by default, but you can use other spices according to experience. After our food is boiled a few times, it is time to add lemon to it. Add the food and be sure to make a few small holes in the lemon to spread the food.
Let it cook for an hour to an hour and a half and then remove from the gas and serve with the rice.
