Hello lovely friends, today i am going to teach you how to prepare the mouthwatering Ghanaian famous banku with hot pepper and fish.**
INGREDIENTS
BANKU
- 4 cups of Corn flour
- 1 cup of Cassava dough
- 1lt of Water
- 2 tablespoon Salt
HOT PEPPER
- 3 fresh tomatoes
- 6 Pepper
- a piece of Ginger
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1/4 tablespoon of Salt
FISH
- 1 grilled Salmon fish

Cassava dough
Tomatoes/ pepper/ onion/ garlic/ ginger
Salt
banku break
Water
Hot Charcoal
Preparation
Put water in a pot and add your corn and cassava dough to mix smoothly.
Put pot on hot charcoal and add salt to taste
Stir with your banku stick till it gets stiff.
Drive the banku when stiff to remove lumps for 5 minutes. The banku break should help with positioning the pot of the fire. You do that by placing both legs on each side of the breaks.
Pour a little water unto the banku and cover so it can evening cook for about 10 minutess
Drive the banku for 10 minutes so it can evenly mix and cook.
Use palstic wrap in a small rounded bowl to fetch small amount of the banku and wrap. The plastic wrap preserves the content from fermentation or spoiling.
Your banku is ready!
Step 2
Wash the tomatoes, onion and pepper
Slice half piece of onion into the grinder and salt to grind for 10 seconds
Add the ginger and garlic. Crush and grind for 30 seconds
Add the pepper to grind for 30 seconds
Top woth the tomatoes and grind as well until they are evenly mixed. 1 minutes is okay
Slice the other half of the onion onto the hot pepper
Put your grilled salmon on it and you are done.
