Happy weekend, hope all are doing well. I wish to share my food diary of 21 January 2022.
Breakfast:
I went to church programme before I came back breakfast has been taken. The kids have eaten and nothing remained because it was at the mid day I came back.
Lunch:
I was so hungry and thinking of what to eat. I decided to prepare a simple jellof rice. I first check my kitchen whether there was some condiments left. God so kind, there was some left. I started preparing it.
These are my condiments:
Groundnut oil, Tomatoe paste, fresh pepper, curry, thyme, maggi, salt, onga, smoked fish and the rice.
I perboiled my rice, blend my pepper with local blender (morter and pestle).
I set the pot on fire, poured the ground nut oil and allowed to heat. Thereafter, I put the onion and stir, then put the grinded pepper, fish stir for a while and Tomatoe paste. I stir for some minutes to dry then added the other condiments, and salt to taste; stir and covered.
When it boild, I put rice, covered and allowed to cook about 30minutes, the food was ready for eating.
Dinner
I came back late from my usual church programme. As I got home my daughter told me to go and bath that she is preparing something for me to eat. Immediately I went to the bathroom and took my bath, before I could come out to dinning table, food was served. I ate and thanked her.
Then I went to bed. Hope you find it interesting.
