Happy to take part on one of the newest contest that #SteemFoods is officiating and I'm forever grateful to Sir @alikoc07 for tirelessly supporting us and the whole community. I'm taking 20% of this to steemitfoods as a support to the community itself.

Even in the difficult times because of the pandemic (covid-19) that we are facing, you can see how hard they work and how they find ways and how they were able to cope up with the hardships of life. Street vendors here in Lapu-Lapu/ Cebu, Philippines are one of those hardworking people because they work day and night just to provide their families needs.

Here are my few photos of street vendors that I have captured.

The first street vendor that I took a picture is a peanut and corn vendor. I just took it while I was riding a cab on my way to the ferry terminal that's why I wasn't able to take a selfie photo with her but I know her a lot because she is one of my favorite seller of peanuts where I often used to buy raw peanuts from her. Her name is Nay Nilda she's not a resident in my city but she sells her crops here in my place because she finds a lot of potential buyers here. She sells her peanut at the right cost for 1 big plastic cup it cost to 80-100 pesos roughly $2.

Next one is filipinos all time favorite street food which is stall vendors for fishball, tempura, hotdogs and chicken intestine.
This is one of the most common scene and view that you can see along the different side walks here in the city.

Kids and adults love this street food because of its affordability and very delicious too. I highly recommend this to everybody because aside from the price, the seller is very accommodating and the service is highly well recommended. The place is very tidy also which buyers will be most attracted of.

Price range:
Tempura - 5 for 20 pesos/ $.20
Fish ball - 1 peso each
Hotdog - 20 pesos each
Chicken intestine - 5 pesos

As I was busy strolling around the city I saw this fruit vendor which sells watery fruit apple which is closely related to Makopa fruit. This is a thirst quencher fruit and very affordable which is saleable for everyone. Each piece cause one peso and also they sell in kilo which is 30 per kilo which is roughly $.50. This is highly commendable for everybody because fruits are good for you.

Lastly, one of our favorite street food which is located near my workplace. This place serves and caters from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is actually my first time eating here because I am not fan of pig intestine but because of my friends who really love this kind and they said that its a must try so why not make it.
The whole place is clean and tidy. The prices are affordable too because they only sold it for $1 per serving and $.10 per piece for hanging rice.
