Hola, buenas tardes a todos y a todos los miembros de la comunidad #SteemFoods, soy yo de nuevo @ jenny018 de la hermosa isla de las Filipinas, que me apresuro a participar para el concurso de esta semana, que es el concurso # 25 del #PrepareADeliciousandPracticalDesert.

I know that I'm late for the contest but still I want to do my entry for the contest in honor and support to the community and to our very dear Sir @alikoc07.

I was a bit busy from work since I've been absent for 2 weeks due to cough and fever and also my little boy Jacob was not feeling well too that's why I wasn't able to check lately the community and that's why its late already when I saw the announcement for the contest. So here I am now making my entry for the contest.

Its really a nice idea and I'm excited to make my entry for desert since I really love sweets.
Filipinos are best known for desert eater. The meal won't be complete if there's no desert in the table and that is why I prepared the easiest and most loved desert in the Philippines which is Leche Flan filipino style.

These are the ingredients.

  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 3 teaspoon of granulated sugar
  • 2 pcs. calamansi fruit
  • 7 pcs. eggs

Procedure:

  • In an empty bowl or any bin your comfortable to use, you have to separate the yolk from the egg white then put it in a separate bowl and using the egg beater beat the egg yolks until they're all mixed up. Add condensed and evaporated milk and then mixed them vigorously. To add new taste squeezed the calamansi fruits, surely the leche flan will have a pleasant smell when cook.

  • Put the molder or llanera on top of the gas stove in low fire, then add 3 teaspoon of granulated sugar and mix thoroughly until solid particles turns into liquid or the sugar caramelize already.

  • After the sugar mixture is caramelize, set it for 5 minutes to cool down, after cooling down add the whole mixture on the molder and cover it with aluminum foil. And cooked it in a steamer for 30-45 minutes. After 35 minutes the leche flan is ready to be serve and the kids are ready to eat.

Tsaraaaaannnn. The leche flan is cooked and served with love.
My little Jacob is very excited to taste test of course.😊
