It's been so long that I wasn't able to post a recipe in this community. Today, I'm gonna share to you a healthy recipe both for kids and adults. It is what we called "Chopsuey" in the Philippines. For you to imagine, it is a vegetable menu with some pork. According to my research "Chopsuey" is an original dish of a Chinese cook and later on differentiated by different culture. It is originally a combination of meat and egg with varieties of vegetable cuts.
My goal for today is to share my own version of "Chopsuey" without removing some original recipe. This is my application from what I have understand from a youtube tutorial on cooking chopsuey.
Let us now start cooking. Come, and cook with me!
🔹pan
🔹 knife and chopping board
🔹wooden spatula
🔹1/4 kilo mixed vegetables cut into small pieces
🔹200 grams ground pork
🔹onion and garlic
🔹cornstarch
🔹salt and other spices
1️⃣ Wash all the recipe to remove harmful bacteria. Cut the first ingredients*; onion and garlic.
2️⃣ Heat 1 teaspoon of cooking oil in a pan. Saute the garlic and onion until becomes brown.
3️⃣ Pour the 200 grams of ground pork on the pan and mixed it with onion and garlic. You can put spices according to your taste, like salt and pepper. Cook it for 5 minutes or until it becomes brown.
4️⃣Add the vegetables. Mix it together. Pour out the cornstarch dissolve in a cup of water. Let it cook until the vegetables become soft.
5️⃣ After 10minutes of cooking, taste it. Then remove from the pan and transfer it to a bowl or a tupperware.
Here! The home-made chopsuey is now ready to eat. Remember, it is best served when hot and when eating with family. Chopsuey is also best on breakfast or dinner but not totally on lunch.
Because of this success, I have done another power-up today of 220 STEEM which is half of my income. Choosing to eat healthy foods is like choosing to do power-up for the maintenance of the platform.
Thank you for passing by. Let me also learn cooking from you @kyrie1234 @abby0207 @sweetmaui01 through steemit.
Have a nice day everyone. Keep in steeming!
Love,
