- 2 panes canilla o campesinos.
- 2 cebolla blanca picadas juliana.
I have been challenged every day, as I have two daughters and my wife, and as you know women need change, dynamics, fun in life. If not, just look at the difference in the closet of a woman and a man. You can see how conservative and simple the man dresses, while the woman, every day is different, different colors according to her emotional state. Well, that also applies to food, I try to give them variety, and fun in food with the resources I have at the time.
Well here is the recipe to guide you:
For four servings:
- 2 canilla or peasant breads.
- 2 ripe plantains (I have found that if I add plantains, they don't leave anything behind!)
- 1/4 small cabbage chopped into thin strips (so that they do not fall when you take the sandwich with your hand).
- 2 white onion, julienne chopped.
- 300ml Neapolitan sauce, or any of the ones you can buy ready-made.
- A little bit of Worcestershire sauce and garlic sauce.
- Salt and pepper to taste, if you have ajinomoto also.
Preparation
- Heat a splash of oil in a large frying pan and then place the whole chorizos, move them immediately so they don't stick to the pan and let them cook very well on each side.
- Remove the chorizos from the skillet and on a board now, cut them into slices as in the photo, this I do, because if I slice them raw before cooking they have fallen apart.
- Keep the pan on medium heat and add the cabbage, plantain and chopped onion and sauté stirring for about 5 minutes.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce and garlic sauce and cover the pan for about 5 minutes more, checking frequently that they do not stick to the pan.
- Finally add salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat the breads opened in half with the griddle, first on the carcass side and then the center.
Here I combined the salty chorizo with the sweet plantain, at home we like it that way, I hope you are encouraged to prepare it and bon appetit.
