If we talk about Japanese cuisine, What menu comes to our mind first? “ramen?” “ what about sushi?”. Maybe because it's an overtalked menu by Japanese. But did you know that those are not just the food that the Japanese likes? Since the Japanese believe that “ time is gold” and they are always in a hurry, They prefer a food that is ready to eat. One of that food they usually have is “ donburi ”, it is rice in a bowl or a plate with vegetables and different types of meat that serve as toppings. You can see this also in ready-to-eat packaging in their grocery store. A complete meal on a go!

Holla Steemfoods! It's been a while since I have not posted here in our beloved community because of my hectic schedule. Today, allow me to share with you my quick restaurant review here in our place. This restaurant is a residential area. They use their ground floor for a restaurant and the second floor is where the owner lives. No wonder they are serving a home-style menu. Good business initiative right?

As I enter this restaurant the ambiance seems that you are in an ordinary home.

Looking at their menus, it offers different Japanese ordinary foods that they eat every day, such as cha han or “fried rice”, yakinikuor “barbeque”. Above on the list what we've got is this “donburi”. I've tasted this many times.

In my honest review of this food,
This set of meals consists of “donburi” on a plate with a small bowl of soup. The thinly sliced meat is so soft and it blends with the rice as you swallow it. I'm just going, to be honest, seems nothing special to this menu. It's just an ordinary serving for me. But maybe because of their brand “ home-style ” that is how they made their recipes.

Cost;
880 /each serving.

Even though I am not that satisfied or maybe I was just expecting for something else, still I am thankful for this experience and for the chance that I've tasted this kind of Japanese food. As a foriegner here, I love to explore their restaurants and taste their different kinds of menus ... that which I like doing it here in Japan.
Thank you very much for reading. See you on my next restaurant review.
