potato rajma-beans
Hello steemians,
Today i will be showing few steps i used to prepare potato beans.
Rajma is the Hindi word for kidney beans. In fact both the beans as well as this curried dish is called as Rajma. Another name for this dish is Rajma Masala – where Rajma refers to the beans and Masala means a spiced gravy.
Rajma masala is a weekend affair at home and a Sunday lunch. This particular rajma recipe made restaurant style goes very well with both steamed rice as well as naan. And when you have rajma and rice, do you need anything else?
In my home, there are no side dishes made on the day when rajma is cooked. Just the melt in the mouth rajma beans in a creamy curry with steamed rice and you have a comforting meal.
And it’s the simplicity of the dish which makes it so wonderful.

The recipe used
•rajma beans
•some potatoes (mash)
•green chilli
•onion
• salt (add to your desired taste)
•tomatoes
The above listed recipes are what i used to prepare my delicious potato beans
Some quantity of Rajma beans
.. Soak the rajma overnight. A lot of recipes would call for soaking for 4 hours or 6 hours but in my experience the recipes works best if you soak it overnight.
What i used....
•potatoes
Boil the potatoes and mash them
#onion and tomatoes
Rost the onion and tomato with each other
#spices (add your desired taste)
Then heat the oil in the pan and mix Rye Cumin and Chillies
After that i put my gravy inside the hot oil for few seconds
Now I fried the tomato and onion gravy for some seconds them i stir continuously until as setisfied with it them i cooked it for about 10 minutes
And then mix spices
After few seconds we will mix rajma beans , mash potatoes and some water for 15-20 min ... and then Rajma beans is ready to
