Greetings to all steemians, most especially steemfood community members, i greet you all in the name of your creator.
My love for beans is something i cannot really explain, beans is one of the food i can prepare with any amount of ingredient.
Below is breakdown of the food i prepared
When preparing beans porridge, you have to measure the quantity you want, am the only one that is going to consume it that is why you are seeing that little quantity above. Many steemians might be confused base on the food am writing about, because i cant tell if beans is in every country, but beans is a popular food in my country Nigeria.
Before i continue i will love to bring to your knowledge the ingredients you need in preparing beans porridge with a diagram below:
Since you now know all the ingredient neccessary to prepare beans porridge, is best i go straight to the point.
PREPARATION METHOD
Put your pot on top of your gas or stolve, which so ever you are using.
Pour water inside the pot depending on the quantity of beans you want to prepare.
When the water starts boiling, you pour the beans and allow it to boil.
After 10 minutes of boiling, you pour it out And put a fresh water again in the pot, at this time it doesnt matter if the water starts boiling or not, just pour back the beans inside.
Best time to add the ingredients
I dont have to say which of them should be added first, because it doesn't matter, anyone can go. What matter most is the salt, the salt should be the last thing to be added and that is when the beans has gotten soft. Then allow it to boil for 10 minutes after adding salt then your porridge is ready
WARNING...... The beans will take more time than expected if you add salt at the wrong time, make sure the beans is soft before adding it.
