Everyone loves jollof, it takes some key ingredients to get my jollof done. Jollof without beef isn’t my favorite, the beef gives it some good stone and taste. I love Steemit, I love my jollof.
So today I prepared jollof rice as supper and I’m glad to share with you how much Steem I used in preparing the meal.
The list of Ingredients and Cost is below;
• Fresh Tomatoes: 0.5 steem
• Onions: 0.25 steem
• Garlic and Ginger:0.25 steem
• Pepper: 0.25 steem
• Beef: 1steem
• Processed tomatoes :0.6 steem
• Canned Tuna: 1.2 steem
• Carrot and Green pepper: 0.5 steem
• vegetable oil: 0.25 steem
• Rice( 1 cup): 0.6 steem
• Egg:0.15 steem
Delicious delicacy prepared with 5.3 steem
Method of preparation
Wash the meat and put it in a sauce pan then blend the ginger, garlic and pepper. After pour the blended ingredients on the meat then steam
When the meat is ready, pour the oil into a frying pan then place on fire
When the oil is hot, then put the meat in it then fry
When the meat is fried, take it from fire. Blend the fresh tomatoes,onion and pepper then pour it on the stock of the steamed meat then pour oil in it.
When it is cooked, add the processes tomatoes and allow to cook well then add the tinned fish
When the stew is ready, you can dish some down if you don’t want to cook plenty of the jollof
Add the rice to the remaining stew on fire and mix, allow to fry small
Then add water, cover it and keep checking on it till it’s ready
Jollof rice is ready
Delicious and not expensive to prepare
