How to Prepare Groundnut Paste at Home by @magcarnie

Hello lovely people, trust we are all doing amazing. I was given some fresh Groundnut by my friend and I decided to turn it into groundnut paste. It is very easy to make.

Step 1:
Pour the cassava flakes(gari) into a sauce pan on fire and allow it to be hot for a while

Step 2:
Pour the groundnut into the the sauce pan on fire and stir until it is cook. Kindly check the fire so that the groundnut does not burn


Step 3:
When the groundnut is ready, separate it from the gari

Step 4:
After separating the groundnut, peel it.

Step 5:

Don't worry if you can't peel everything, pour the groundnut into a mortar then pound.

Pound till the groundnut is the texture you want.

I didn't want it so smooth because of the difficulty in getting it out of the mortar, so when I'm preparing my soup I will blend it and probably drive it. But this is the end result.
