Greetings to all the lovely steemians on @steemfoods and I must commend the organizers for this great contest. I am glad to bring my input on board. I want to acknowledge the admin on steemfoods, @alikoc07 and @arie.steem the founder of steemcoffeeshop.
I am from the Middle zone of Ghana, the Ashanti Region to be precise and I stay at Kumasi to be precise. Having a steemcoffee shop in my city won’t be bad at all. We have a lot of offices around who have workers who will surely be interested in the coffee shop because there is non in my city so it is a great initiative. We also have alot of Universities in my city and they will be interested as well. Since it is a new business we will start with promotional activities on campuses and at vantage places by sharing of flyers among other initiatives so that people will be aware of the steemcoffee shop.
Due to the recent COVID-19 pandaemic, I will create two purchasing means; I will create a steemcoffee shop online platform on steemit where people can make their orders and delivery will be made to them and also we will have the shop itself where people can pass by and have a sip of some coffee(all COVID-19 protocols will be observed).
Opening a steemcoffee shop will be an excellent means of promoting steemit and also bringing investors on steemit.
What strategies will the steemcoffee shop take?
1• Discount on every beverage you purchase when you buy with steem: With this steemcoffee shop payments we will have payment options and steem will be part and one strategy we will use is when you buy with steem you get a discount(this will help people get more interested in paying with steem thereby getting more investors into steemit).People in my city will be very interested in paying with steem because of the discount.
2• We will also give franchise to people in other communities: Steemcoffee shop in just my city won’t be enough because Ashanti Region is such a big place and we want to give prompt services to our customers so we will open branches of the same coffee shop in other parts of Ashanti Region. This will be done with the aim of making the coffee shop bigger because with just one coffee shop people won’t really know about steem.
3• We will also use a percentage of the earnings yearly to touch lives: In my country, Ghana every company has a social responsibility to play so we will also use a percentage of our earnings every half of the year to donate to the needy and sometimes print books with the steemcoffee shop logo on it and the book will also contain some information about steemit. We will also give free beverages to the needy in some of our outreaches. So every year will determine what strategy we will take. This is a way of touching lives through steem and people will hear of the good works of steemit which will convince investors to invest easily.
1• Design of Steemcoffee shop logo: At the start of every business logo is very important, it helps identify and sells the business. For easily identification of the steemcoffee shop and uniformity sake we will use the same logo as arie.steem so that when people from city travel to other parts of the world and see steemcoffee shop they will know it is the same brand.
2• We will do delivery service,shop and events: So the delivery service will be known as steemcoffee shop deliveries. When people order online then we deliver to their offices or wherever they are, the cost will be added to the price of the beverage they order. Ordering through steemit will also attract a discount(this is to promote the blockchain). The coffee shop will have it head branch situated at Kumasi because it is the center of Ashanti Region and the other branches will be in the other towns. Then we will have a shop where people can come and sit and have a sip. We will also do events in case people want our services at their weddings, parties etc. that means more money for the coffee shop. We will also have stations in the various Universities in my city so that students can buy from there.
At every campus there will be a steemcoffee shop stand where students can buy from. The stand will cost Ghc1000(320 steem) so for the start we will get 2 for Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and one for Kesseben University do a total of Ghc2000(640 steem).
With the shop, will get one to pay on hire purchase at a cost of Ghc30000(everything in the shop inclusive) which is 9800steem but we will start with the coffee stands and the online shop(delivery service) for now. The motor bike for delivery will cost about Ghc15000 that is 4,900 steem.

3• Payment method: Since a lot of people don’t really know about steemit, using only steem as a means of payment will be a worry so we will have other means of payment but steem will be the main means of payment and whoever pays with steem will have a discount. Everyone likes discount so when they hear this they will gradually shift to paying with steem.
4• Staffing: Every business needs people who will run the business so for our Steemcoffee shop we will get people who are familiar with steemit and are registered on steemit as well. This is to ensure that we have staff who can help our customers sign in on steemit and also assist them to make payments. T-shirts will be printed with the steemcoffee shop logo design, this is to create more awareness about steemit and the coffee shop.
4• Menu: The menu will have variety of beverages on steemcoffee shop menu. There will also be pastries and small chops along side the beverages. The menu will have the list of food items, price in Ghana cedis and price in steem.
