Hello friends, i am happy to share with you my simple cooking method. This is the ingredients and the produre i used in cooking pottage beans(jolloff)
Ingredients:
Fresh pepper
Onions
Seasoning cubes
Ginger
Garlic
Salt and red oil
Crayfish
Water(as desired)
Cooking procedure
Wash your beans. After washing, put in a pot and add water to it. Then, set on fire. Allow it to boil for like 20minutes. After, sieve and seperate the water from the beans, pour away the water. Pour another water into it, add like 1tbsf of salt,stir and sieve once again. After sieving, pour out the water. Put the beans in a pot, add water and set on fire. Just in the next few minutes, the beans will ferment(done) so at that point you can add the necessary ingredients.

While waiting, slice your onions and keep aside

Remove the peel of the garlic and ginger, then put in a mortar along with the crayfish. Please note: i personally don't like seeing pieces of onions on my food. So as a result, i am going to pound my sliced onion along with crayfish, garlic and ginger.

Once the beans is done, add all the ingredients except oil. Stir and allow to steam for like 5minutes, then add oil(desired quantity) but if you are suffering from ulcer, add enough oil. Then, add salt(to taste)

But, i know you might wonder why i used salt after perboiling to wash the beans. This is it:(1) for eazy done (cooking) (2)To avoid stomach upset
