Hello! Today I suggest you cook a tasty and healthy dish. This is green borscht. We are all used to the fact that borscht should be red, but it turns out that it can be different. Despite the fact that this dish is also called borscht, it is significantly different from ordinary borscht.
My 7-year-old daughter helped me cook today, so the borscht turned out to be surprisingly tasty. And now I will tell you what we did together.
We will need the following ingredients for the dish:
- Potatoes
- Onion
- Carrots
- Fig
- Sorrel
- Minced chicken
- Sour cream
- Boiled egg
First, we peeled the potatoes:
cut them into cubes and put them to boil:
After that we took carrots and onions:
Carrots were grated, and onions were cut into small cubes
All this was mixed and fried:
Now we need to return to the potatoes that we are cooking. When it is half ready, we add pre-washed rice:
Chop the sorrel:
Add onions and carrots that we fried. Now all this must be stewed together for 2 minutes:
We take minced chicken, add salt and pepper:
And make balls out of it. Fortunately, I had an assistant who is very good at making meatballs. Here's what she got:
Add the meatballs to the potatoes. Then we add frying, sour cream and mix well.
Finally, add a chopped boiled egg:
