It's my Day 2 in the Sixth Season of the Food Diary Game. It's Wednesday, and I have made a simple but delicious chicken sandwich.

My food-day started early, as usual, with a cup of hot black coffee.
Then I made semi sweet dough with corn meal and wheat flour, and I also grated some cheese.
...To make empanadas.
I made chicken soup for lunch.
And served it with arepas. We had it in the living room, while watching old movies.
After we finished eating our soup, we shared a piece of vanilla sponge cake and coffee.
I spent the afternoon working in the studio. It was bit late when I finished; however, I wanted to eat a chicken sandwich, so I got to work. I marinated chicken breast fillets. I cut them very thin and put garlic, salt, freshly ground black pepper, and olive oil on them. I only let them marinate for a few minutes.
I roasted them in the wok, with just a few drops of olive oil.
I had the lettuce washed in the refrigerator. I wash it well and store it in an airtight container; this way it lasts for days fresh in the fridge so I don't waste time when I need it.
I spread melted cheddar cheese on a loaf of pita bread; then I put a bed of lettuce, cooked eggs on top and the chicken breast fillets.
...Then I put another loaf of pita bread on top. Et voilà!
I finally got my chicken sandwich. It was really good.
A good movie and a cup of tea to close my food-day.
