Maja Blanca Recipe
Maja Blanca is a coconut milk, cornstarch, and sugar-based Filipino delicacy. This delectable dessert, also known as Coconut Pudding, is simple to prepare and uses ordinary ingredients. Corn and milk are not included in the original Maja Blanca recipe, which many people are unaware of. For extra flavor and a creamier texture, I used whole sweet kernel corn and condensed milk in this recipe.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups Evaporated Milk
1/2 cup Cream Cornstarch
3/4 cup Sweet Corn Kernels
1/2 cup Sugar
2 cups Thin Coconut Milk
1/2 cup Condensed Milk
STEPS
Step 1: Gather all of your resources.
Step 2: Squeeze the coconut to get the milk.
Step 3: Combine all of the prepared ingredients in the correct proportions.
Step 4: Cook over low heat, whisking constantly, until the cornstarch is completely dissolved.
Step 5: Transfer the mixture to a bowl once it is smooth, thick, and lump-free. Allow 2 hours for cooling.
