Hello Steemians!
Today we are going to make delicious cottage cheese yeast buns. These yumy and budget buns were prepared in my childhood by mothers and grandmothers. The buns are very tasty , soft and fluffy. The ingredients are available in any supermarket.
Ingredients
Flour - 500 g
Butter - 50 g
Milk - 320 ml
Sugar - 3 tablespoons
Dry yeast - 1.5 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Pureed cottage cheese - 600 g
Egg - 2 pcs.
Wheat flour - 1 tablespoon
Sugar - 4 tablespoons
STEP 1
Add sugar and yeast to warm milk. Heat up for 10 minutes but not let milk boil. Add butter, 2 tbsp. of sugar, eggs, salt. Mix everything well and add flour. Knead the dough until elastic. Leave the dough for 1.5-2 hours to rise.
STEP 2
For the filling, mix cottage cheeese with sugar, flour, 1 whole egg and 1 protein. Use the second yolk to grease the buns. Take the dough that has risen and divide into two parts. Roll each part into a rectangle about 0.5 cm thick.
STEP 3
Brush the filling and gently roll into two rolls.
STEP 4
Cut the rolls into even pieces.
And place them in baking container.
STEP 5
Brush the buns with yolk and let rise up a bit. During this time, preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Bake the buns for about 15 minutes. Looks yum!
Step 6
The final touch is sour cream glaze.
Just mix the sour cream with powdered sugar and generously grease the browned buns with cottage cheese with it.
Wow. Looks so delicious.

For the butter
In the kitchen, you have to learn to count, divide, multiply, in short, to do mental arithmetic to get by in case your electric scale decides to let you go.
Thus, 5 grams of butter is equivalent to a teaspoon while 15 grams corresponds to a tablespoon.
So if you need 250 grams of butter, you will know you need 16 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons! And when we talk to you about a nut of butter, that corresponds to 4 grams. While the knob of butter will equal 15 grams.
