How to prepare Baganda's traditional food called matooke in Uganda.

Hello steemist,
Good evening beatifull women and men of steemist foods .This is Milly gabby from Makerere University business school Nakawa from Kampala Uganda .I have come today to show you guys how the Baganda tribe from Uganda in Buganda Kingdom how they prepare their sweet traditional food called Matooke as shown below.Thats what is called a banana plant.

First of all you go to the market in case you stay in the town and you buy one banch of banana and another option for those who stay in the village or who possess abanana plantation,you go to the garden and get one banch of banana,banana leaves for covering up your food after peeling for cooking or you can use asauce pan cover .And in other cases some people who can not acceess banana leaves use polythen bags which is so dangerous to their health.

After that, you get your nife and start peeling your bananas from any where u like but the bagandas use a basket for their peeling.

 After peeling one gets a source pan and first down in the source pan one gets some banana stalk and put some banana leaves holdings first before putting in the the food into the source pan.And the you place in a banana leaf first and then you place in your food.

  After then, you cover your food well with banana leaves and put on fire for cooking as shown.

 After then u cook untill it gets ready for eating.

You then, squeeze it tightly until it gets soft for eating.Then u can leave it on fire for some good time untill it gets softer and nice for eating .

Here u can cooking any of your favorite source like g-nuts, meat,fish among others .I assure u ,u will enjoy your meal and get satisfied.
