Hello there!

How are you? I hope you are fine. Today I will be sharing with you how I made jam from the plums that I collected with my own hands. I have made many jams with various fruits before, but I have never tried plum jam. Frankly, I didn't think to do it because I thought it would be too sour. But a short time ago, we went to a village close to the city for a trip. There were fruit trees in the garden of the villagers. They insisted that I collect some. I'm a little embarrassed to admit such things. But they were such good people that they were very generous to me 🙏 They insisted that I collect as much as I wanted. In fact, there are so many meetings that I asked them, "What am I going to do with all these plums?" They said you can make jam if you wish. I told them I had never had plum jam before. They also offered me some of their own treats. The taste was so good that I can say that I loved it with the taste of being organic!

I immediately decided to make jam from plums there. I already knew how to make jam. It hasn't been difficult for me. On the contrary, I have a lot of fun while making jam, I enjoy it a lot. My kitchen smells like jam, I love this smell! I want to go to my recipe right away and introduce you to this delicious taste 👩‍🍳

Ingredients needed for jam;

✔️Black plum
✔️Granulated sugar
✔️Butter

Fabrication ;

First of all, we wash all the plums very well. Then we chop the plums that we washed into small pieces. I chose to chop it this way. If you are born too small, the plums will be crushed and you may get undesirable results in your jam.

We put the plums we cut into slices in a suitable pot and set our stove to medium heat.

We add 500 ml of granulated sugar on top of our plums. I prefer less sugar. Those who like very sweet can increase the amount of sugar according to themselves.

First of all, when the high heat starts to boil, we start to cook our jam on medium heat. At this stage, foams will fill up on the jam, after removing these foams,

Add a little more than 1 tablespoon of Butter on it. This will give our jam a brighter appearance and will prevent the accumulation of foam on it.

The final step is entirely up to your taste buds. Do you like the jam more liquid or more solid? Turn off the heat when it reaches your desired consistency.

Put the jam, which is still hot, in a jar in an airtight way and after this stage, you can start consuming it immediately if you wish.

This is how I make my jam. In fact, most people make it with sugar the night before, but I do it this way because it is troublesome for me. And my recipe turns out exactly the way I want it. Our delicious and appetizing jam is ready. Bon Appetit!
