Hi Stemians,
Welcome to my post. I hope all are doing well so I came with another exciting dish. The dish's name is Kadan and it is a very less known dish of India. It is a healthy sweet dish that came from the kokan region of India.
Ingredients
Mong Dal 250Grams (Roast moong dal and after that boil in the cooker)
Salt as per your taste.
Sugar 1 bowl
Cardamom Powder 4tbsp
Dry fruits
Half Shreded coconut with turmeric powder 1tbs
Receipe
Step 1 :- Grind the coconut and turmeric powder mixture in mixer.
Step 2 :- Heat the pan and then add the coconut and turmeric powder mixture.
Step 3:- After that add salt in the mixture. and keep moving this mixture for some time.
Step 4:- After boiling this mixture add the moong dal in the mixture and keep moving for some time.
Step 5:- After that add sugar and cook for next 15 minutes.
Step 6:- After that add cardamom powder and dry fruits . And cook for next 5 minutes after that served this hot. It tastes good if you ate this hot.
