Welcome to my post. I hope all are doing well so I came with another exciting dish. Today's dish is famous for Maharashtrian Misal. I just make a little bit of fusion in this recipe as I use less oil in this recipe and I hope you all like it.
Ingrededients
- 1/4 cup grated, coconut
- Oil
- 4-5 big Finely chopped onion
- 4~5 Garlic cloves
- 1” finely chopped Ginger
- 4-5 finely chopped Tomato
- 25 grams Misal Masala
- 1 tbsp Red chili powder
- 250 gms Mataki(Moth beans)
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt as per your taste
- 4 glasses Water
- Farsan
- Finely chopped Coriander leaves
Recipe
Firstly add little oil to the pan and add shredded coconut into this and curry leaves. After that roast this till coconut has a golden brown color. After that grind the coconut into the mixer and make a thick mixture.
After that add little oil into the pan and add ginger-garlic and onion into it and roast it till the onion has a golden color and after that add tomato into this. Add salt also while roasting the onions. after that, this grinds into the mixer and makes a thick paste of this.
After that add oil into the pan and add tomato into this. After that misal masala into the pan and mix it very well. After that add tomato paste into this and add the coconut mixture and ginger-garlic-coriander paste into this and mixed it very well. Also, add some water and after that add boil moth beans. Keep this all cook for the next 15 minutes after the boiling of this we will add turmeric powder and red chili powder.
After that, we cooked misal for the next 10 minutes and after that, we will add coriander and served the misal with pav and Farsan.
