Bananas are basically grown in hot and tropical climates, since the Philippines is a part of a tropical country, so expecting that there are lots of bananas here.
Everywhere in the Philippines, you can see bananas together with their unique ways of cooking.
Banana cue- made by deep-frying saba bananas which are generously coated in a thick layer of caramelized sugar. It's also as considered street food.
Anyway, I'll be sharing with you the ingredients and preparation in cooking banana-cue.
Here are the ingredients:
6 Bananas (saba)
5 cups of Oil (use much oil since it's deep-fried)
Bamboo skewers
Brown Sugar (5 cups)
STEPS:
First:
Peel the banana and put it in a container or empty basin.
Second:
Pour- in the cooking oil into a pot and when it becomes hot, you follow the peeled banana and put it into the pot slowly.
Third:
Gradually add the brown sugar and make sure to adjust the heat to medium-low.
Fourth:
Stir gently the bananas so that they can get coated with the melted brown sugar easily.
