MY RECIPE: HOW TO PREPARE RIPE PLANTAIN AND STEW BY @nchanglovet, 29/04/2024

INTRODUCTION

Hello all fellow steemians of the #steemfoods community, how are u all? I think all is well despite this try times, yes am talking about the corona virus (covid 19) . But I hope we will all overcome it very soon..

Today I am going to share my recipe for ripe plantains and stew

Let's begin by knowing the list of ingredients that will make up this delicious recipe

  • Meat(beef)
  • Fresh tomatoes
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • White pepper
  • Pepper
  • Green spice
  • Maggi and salt for taste
  • Plantains

Procedure

Now, cook meat(beef) with onions, pepper, maggi and salt till it's very soft and the water is about to dry up. Next blend the fresh or cut the fresh tomatoes with pepper, onions, garlic, white pepper to have a homogeneous paste. Next we boil this homogeneous paste till the water in it dries up( this is to avoid it having a sour taste). Once the paste is dried off we now add the boiled meat and water into the paste while still on fire. Next we Add 3 cooking spoon full of vegetable oil and stir. Add seasoning and allow to boil for 10 minutes, then the stew is ready.

When the stew is boiling, it is advisable to peel and wash your plantains, cut to smaller sizes and put it inside a pot. Now put the pot of plantain on the fire with little salt pour water and allow it to cook for 20 to 25miuntes, then remove

NB: We can also serve ripe plantains with
pork and ripe plantains goes insanely well together with beans
rice too can go with stew and Irish potatoes



Food is now ready and served.....Good appetite
