The name of the cake this time is putu ayu, putu itself has various types, but most of the ones who are aware in the market are putu bambu. Then what about Putu Ayu? Let's get into the manufacturing process.
The ingredients needed to make Putu Ayu
Before entering into the manufacturing process, we must first prepare the materials for making Putu Ayu, the materials needed are as follows:
- Wheat flour 125gr
- 15gr cornstarch
- 100gr sugar
- 2 eggs
- Tbm 1 teaspoon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 65 ml of coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon pandan paste
- Grated coconut to taste
- Cooking oil, to spread to taste
How to make it
- 1. Enter the egg yolks, sugar, and tbm in a bowl, then mixer on high speed until thick white
- 2. If the dough is thick white, then add the flour, cornstarch, salt, and vanilla. Mixer on medium speed until well blended
- 3. Add the coconut milk and pandanus paste then stir until well blended
- 4. When the dough is finished making, then grease the mold with vegetable oil, then fill the grated coconut half the mold and fill the dough on top until evenly distributed
- Do everything until the dough runs out
5. Heat the steamer and cover the steamer with a cloth so that moisture does not enter the dough
6. If the steamer is hot enter the dough and wait 15 minutes until Putu Ayu is cooked and ready to be served
