Today I am going to share with you the recipe made by Nadu. Nadu is usually made with coconut. This dish is a light dessert. Coconut food has been my favorite food since my childhood. Naru is made in our house especially in winter season. Nadu is very good to eat with mudri. Usually when we make nadu in our house, I eat nadu almost every day in the evening and in the morning. Nadu is a favorite food of most people in Bangladesh.Although the origin of Nadu is India, the popularity of Bangladesh is much higher.Anyway let's get started now......
Step:-1
Since coconut is the main ingredient made in Nadu. So first of all you need 2 coconuts.

Then you have to remove the coconut husk with something sharpened from the coconut. Then break the coconut in the middle and pour water from inside.

Next the coconuts have to be sliced with the help of a kuran. kuran is small sharp coconut slicing machine.

With the help of the kuran, after cutting the coconut, the coconut will look like the image above.

Since nadu is a dessert, good molasses is needed to make nadu. So I am burning sugarcane molasses and light sugar inside the pan. When used in this way, the amount of sweetness in the pulse is much better.

Once the molasses is ready for making nadu, the molasses should be poured from the pan into the pot and wait till the molasses cools down.

First you have to heat ghee in a pan. Remove the pan from the oven and carefully add coconut, sugarcane husk, 1 cup milk, cardamom and cinnamon inside the pan.

The next step is to mix all the ingredients well together.

Once it is spread, put the pan in the oven again and cook on low heat.

Keep the flame light and stir constantly and make sure that the mixture does not stick to the pan in any way. Stir the mixture for 15-20 minutes and the mixture will come to a simmer.

The mixture should be a little sticky to actually turn off the stove fire and take the mixture down from the pan. Then remove the cinnamon pieces from the mixture.

Now apply a little ghee on the hands and while the coconut mixture is slightly hot, take the coconut mixture little by little and make small rounds with the help of the palms of both hands.
Serve
Now it is edible. You can store the nadu in a glass jar if you wish. Naru kept it in a glass jar for about six months.Nadu is usually eaten spontaneously. However, the people of Bangladesh eat with nadu muri.Mudi and Nadu are very famous for their morning and evening snacks in the homes of many in our village. You can taste the naru with the murdi and it will look very tasty.
