This meat is perfect!
After a successful hunt yesterday, it's time to enjoy the harvest. Some people just throw away the skin of harvested animals. We like to tan them or turn them into rawhide, but that's not all they are good for. Usually, there is a thin layer of meat on the skin too, which is perfect for venison jerky. After tasting the jerky we like to make, you would understand why we are willing to scrape the skin and eat that meat. While I was getting ready for the oven , Pinkie-Pepper even made some sourdough baguettes, so we'll have that to enjoy too. (Also, I snuck a sample, it's delicious!) Enjoy the photos!
