Intro
It's cold and windy outside today so I decided to prepare warming meal which will teleport me back to Poland for a while. Fasolka po Bretońsku is something very unusual in my new motherland. Most of South Americans never would think to mix beans and tomatoes in one meal, but for me it's a taste of my childhood which reminds about the warm house. If you would like to try something low-cost and "oriental" check out this eastern European plate - you won't regret it :)
Ingredients (3-4 plates)

🍲 5 cans with beans
🍲 1 onion
🍲 5 cloves of garlic
🍲 150g of bacon
🍲 1-2 sausages/chorizos
🍲 400 ml of tomato puree
🍲 1 can of tomato concentrate
🍲 1 can of tomatoes without skin
🍲 Spices (salt, pepper, bay leaf, marjoram, allspice, paprika)

1️⃣ Prepare all the ingredients: cut the onion and bacon into small cubes, chorizo into half slices.

2️⃣ Melt the fat from the bacon. Remember to heat it on the lowest fire, otherwise it will quickly become crunchy from outside and fat will remain into the pieces. Mix it sometimes until most of the fat will be melted and bacon pieces will change the color into slightly brown

3️⃣ Add chorizo or sausage to the bacon and fry everything for 2-3 minutes. Originally the recipe includes Polish sausage but in Argentina regular sausages are very low quality so I prefer to add chorizo instead

4️⃣ Squeeze garlic cloves and add it with the onion. Fry everything approximately 10 minutes more, mixing regularly. If you use not salted bacon, add salt to the onion.

5️⃣ Now it's time to add beans. You can use home-made canned beans or ones from the shop, but home made are better because they are not so soft. Check the link to learn how to prepare it.
You may also use dried beans if soaked for whole night and boiled several hours before adding to the meal.

6️⃣ Finally add tomato concentrate and passata and canned tomatoes without skin. Canned tomatoes you can replace with three-four regular tomatoes burned before to remove the skin from it.
Add spices: marjoram (if it's unavailable in your country, use oregano instead - it's the same family of herbs), salt, pepper, plenty of paprika and allspice. If you don't have allspice, mix 1/2 tsp of nutmeg with 3/4 tsp of cloves and 1 tsp of cinnamon. That mixture should effect in a perfect immigration of the allspice.
Serve hot with the slice of bread or toasts
Bon appetite,
