Hi food community,
Today I want to share a grocery haul again, I have been slacking off with being healthy all the time the past few weeks, but now I started performing and training again and need to put an emphasis on being healthy, so my body can function in the best way possible.
Planet Organic
- Frozen Amavida Dragon fruit
https://ama-vida.com/products/pitaya-smoothie-packs
you get 4 pouches per pack and I will use it to create a protein smoothie bowl. you can also use it without protein powder, but I normally use Vivo life plant protein, bananas, dates and one frozen pack and top it with hemp seeds.
- Sambazon froze organic Acai pulp
https://www.sambazon.com
I also use this for smoothie bowls and also with bananas dates, sometimes other frozen fruit such as mango, or pineapple.
Acai is a superfood and one of the antioxidant riches foods out there.
Engevita nutritional yeast
I get the version with vitamin B12 added and use it to give a little cheesy flavour to things I cook and also for my homemade vegan parmesan. it is such a versatile flavouring and I love it. I can literally not live without it.garlic
ok this is self explanatory, if you have seen any of my recipe blogs you saw garlic haha.sourdough bread
I love this type of bread, I am German so I grew up with sourdough bread and farmer's bread and it is the only one that really satisfies me. If I eat toast I get hungry again after 10 minutes. I keep it in the freezer to prevent it from drying out and toast one or two slices whenever I want one.
Sainsbury
Coffee beans
I grind them in my Nutri bullet only a few days at a time, that keeps it fresher. Two packs of smoked tofu
I mainly use this one for tofu scramblePasta sauce
this time I got a vegan chilli pesto and a vegan cherry tomato sauce from scale and I love them. It is one of my favourite brands for canned sauces and pestos.Coriander/ cilantro
for guacamoleparsley
for the mushrooms and I also put it into salads if I have extraavocados + limes
guacamolecashews for the homemade vegan parmesan
mushrooms
I normally just fry them and add them as a topping on salads or sandwichesaubergines
I fried them with garlic chilli and nutritional yeast and used them as a topping for my pasta
I hope you enjoyed this little haul! Keep cooking.
