Preparing the traditional dolma dish

Hello, my special greetings to all members of Community .
I wanted to share with all my friends today a recipe of preparing a traditional dish called (dolma)
that is prepared in North African countries and some Middle Eastern countries.

Recipe ingredients :

  • Lamb meat minced 600 grams .
  • Some parsley leaves .
  • Two spoons of rice .
  • Two spoons of salt .
  • One spoon of cinnamon .
  • One spoon of black pepper .
  • One chicken egg .
  • One kilogram of potatoes .
  • 500 grams zucchini .
  • 500 grams green pepper .
  • 200 grams of chickpeas .
  • 3 garlic cloves .
  • Two onions .
  • Spoon of butter .
  • 100 ml sunflower oil .

How to prepare:

-1- First, we wash the vegetables (zucchini and peppers) and peel the potatoes and wash them as well.
Then we cut all these vegetables in half .

-2- Then, using a special knife, we dig these vegetables, potatoes and zucchini, the pepper does not need to be drilled .

-3- We start preparing the filling of minced meat , In a special bowl we put 600 grams of minced lamb , We chop an onion and add it to the minced meat ,we add a little chopped parsley , we add an egg and two spoons of rice , we add half a spoon of salt and the Spices : ( one spoon of cinnamon and one spoon of black pepper ).
Mix the mixture well , We start by filling the potatoes, zucchini, and peppers with this minced meat mixture .

-4- Bring the cooking pot and place it over the stove and put in it a tablespoon of butter, three tablespoons of oil, a few chopped onions and chopped garlic. Stir the mixture until we get a yellow color and add the rest of the minced meat mixture ,then we add two hundred grams of chickpeas after about two minutes From mixing over a quiet fire .

-5- Put the pitted vegetables stuffed with the previously prepared minced meat in hot oil and stir in hot oil after 6 minutes, take them out and put them in a cooking pot .
Add 2 liters of hot water to a cooking pot and add a little chopped parsley and leave it over a low heat for 35 minutes until it is cooked.

In the end, we got a very delicious traditional food that served for about 12 dishes .
