Hello lovely foodies!!!
Hope all is well and ready to welcome the weekend! 😉😉😉
Today I have the pleasure sharing another easy to make recipe which I had for dinner earlier!
All prepared and cooked by myself and sharing exclusively here on Steemfoods!
Hope you like it!
So here we go!
Ingredients that you will need:
Chopped tomatoes/carrots cut in brunoise/Diced onion/Cooked chickpeas/Cooked green peas/Baby corn finely cut/Sautéed beef/Sautéed chicken/ Curry leaves/Fresh Coriander/Spring onion.
Let's have a closer view of the ingredients - Took me like 20 minutes to put all in place!
And the main ingredient, RICE.
I used long grain basmati rice which i cooked in salted turmeric boiling water.
Feel free to use any variety of rice you wish.
Rheem, my kitchen helper!!!
Every time I am cooking at home, my daughter is always there helping me in the prep work and taking my photos!!!
TIME TO COOK!!!
All small preparations were made in my indoor kitchen...while the big cooking I did it outside.
Or else...you know well how messy the kitchen will be!
😂😂😂
The chef in action - lockdown style!!!
I started by heating vegetable oil in the big cooking pot, then added the onion and carrots.
When the carrots were soft, I added the beef and chicken.
Next in were all the different veggies as mentioned above.
And after cooking for 2 minutes, i put in the chopped tomatoes and cooked for further 3 minutes.
This is the result i was looking at before the next step...
Now it was time to put in the rice...mix everything well on low fire...
Go gently so that you don't break the rice.
And finally the fresh herbs, check the seasoning...salt and pepper.
Et voila...my rice fricassée is ready!
My dinner plate waiting for me😉😉😉
Had it with some crushed chili...i love to spice things up!
After a nice shower...it was time to enjoy dinner!
So how did you find this recipe?
Will you try it at home?
If you have any questions or clarifications, simply drop a comment below, I will be much pleased explaining.
Until my next one.
Stay blessed.
