Greetings of the day beautiful foodies!
It's been long that I did not post anything on in this lovely community - I've just been very busy with life and also with the running of Steemit Iron Chef!
But anyway...I am present nearly everyday on Steemit, this matters more, isn't it friends!
Let me share a very easy to make infusion that I serve to my guests at my restaurant! Hope you like it!
One of the highlights of my restaurant is the herbs infusion I serve to my guests...
Everyone who tasted it once...always order it again the next time they visit us!
This herbs infusion is a very easy thing to do...and very nice to have too - Specially in winter time!
When I created it...I wanted to have the concentrate of that lovely green and fresh taste of 3 of my favorite herbs which we used the most in my kitchen...
Thyme - Basil - Mint!!!
To make it...you will simply need :
- Fresh Mint / Basil / Thyme!!!
- Water
- Pure Honey - Any type you like!
All you have to do is to put water to a boil...
Once it starts to boil...switch off the fire and add in all the fresh herbs at once...
Let infuse for minimum 5 minutes...
You can let it infuse in the pot itself or in a tea kettle! I used the one we have, a copper one!
While it was infusing, I cut little pieces of fresh basil and mint and put in the small cups in which we will pour the infusion for guests!
And on the side...some pure honey. It is up to the guest to decide how much sweet they will like their infusion to be!
And here we go...It's ready!
You need to have it hot for the best experience!
My guests usually have it throughout their meal at my restaurant! This is simply great instead of the usual sodas which contain tons of sugar! Isn't it!?
We actually make some other infusions too...a real lot in fact!!! But this one is my favorite of all!
I will posts some more of our infusions now on...Do you love infusions!?
Stay tuned for these easy and healthy recipes soon!
Thanks so much for reading and supporting my blog!
Best Regards!
