Hello friends,

Hope you all are doing great and having good time with family. Today I am sharing The process of how to make Ghee at Home.

As we all know in Indian people use ghee in different ways like - for cooking & pooja, ghee is good for health and it contains multiple vitamins.
My family has always been using home made ghee, as i already mentioned that its a home made ghee so the doubt of purity is already gone, in stores the ghee is never be pure and the vegetable oil's has added in it.

Lets talk about the process-

  1. Take a big bowl and start collecting cream(Malai)in it.
  2. When you feel that the cream may have accumulated in good quantity.
  3. Then take it out in a bowl and add 1/4 of Luke warm water to it.(Especially when you are making Ghee for Winters)
  4. Keep beating until the cream separates.
  5. When the cream starts separating, squeeze it gently and keep it separately in a bowl.
  6. Put the pan on medium flame on the gas, And put the separated butter in it.
  7. Leave the Butter to Melt for Few Minutes, Till its color turns light golden.
  8. Now you will be able to see that the solid part of the milk is getting separated from the butter, a very nice smell will start coming from it and this will be the time when we have to turn off the gas.
  9. Now keep the ghee to cool down for a while. And then after that filter it in a clean jar and separate it.
