Hope your weekend have been great. I'm here today with a recipe, pottage beans π. Beans has a high percentage of protein. Knowing what protein does to the body, then you need not to be told how healthy this meal is.
Ok, below we are going to be looking at the various procedures for achieving this delicious delicacy π, quickly fasten your seatbelt as we fly.
INGREDIENTS
- Beans 5cups
- Plantain 4 sticks
- 1bulb of onion, 9seeds of pepper, 3 cubes ofseasoning, 1ginger and garlic
- Crayfish (dried prawns)
- Palm oil 15cl
- Salt to taste
PROCEDURES
- Step 1
Let's begin by picking our beans. (That is, removing the dirts from the beans.
And here is our selected beans, clean and void of dirts and stone.
When we're done with that, we can go on to put the beans on fire, to parboil it.
Leave to boil for 6minutes
Let's sieve and wash our beans
Step 2
Let's prepare our ingredients
Let's peel and dice our plantain
Let's dice our onion
We are grinding the pepper, crayfish, ginger and garlic together
Step 3
Let us prepare the meal.
We are placing the washed beans on fire again with water, immediately we add the diced onion
Then allow to boil until a little bit soft. Then we can go ahead to add our diced plantain
Allow to boil for about 8 minutes
Then we can now add the grinded crayfish, pepper, ginger and garlic
We are adding salt and seasoned cubes
Allow to boil for 2 minutes
Then let's add the palm oil
Allow to boil until very soft, or better still the water dries off
And wolah! You have your yummy bean pottage ready to be consumed!π
